Meet Dr. Martin
A native of Utah, William Martin, DPM, is happy to serve patients in Logan and Tooele, Utah, at Utah Podiatry: A Foot and Ankle Clinic. Dr. Martin offers patients his years of experience combined with conservative and compassionate foot and ankle care for the entire family.
Dr. Martin obtained his bachelor’s degree in zoology with a minor in chemistry at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, in 1995. He earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from the California College of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco, California, in 1999.
During medical school, Dr. Martin completed an externship at Madigan Army Medical Center in Fort Lewis, Washington. Upon graduation, he joined a three-year combined medical-surgical residency program at the Veterans Administration Center in Baltimore, Maryland, specializing in foot and ankle disorders and diabetic foot care. During his residency, Dr. Martin completed clinical rotations at several facilities around Maryland, including Fort Bragg Medical Center, Naval Hospital Bethesda, the VA Baltimore Medical Center, and Sinai Hospital.
Dr. Martin has completed various specialized training programs that position him to expertly serve all the needs of his patients. His expert training includes advanced workshops in surgical techniques and procedures and a certification of care from the American Diabetes Association.
Dr. Martin also enjoys spending time with his four daughters and grandchild, as well as indulging in hobbies like fishing and hiking when he can. He's also an avid bass player and regularly performs with his band.
