When it comes to the feet, it is easy to forget about proper care beyond giving them a rest. However, even the early stages of an injury can seem small but lead to serious pain when left untreated. In many cases, walking and even just sitting can be painful. At Foot & Ankle Specialty Clinic, we strive to provide the quality podiatry care patients need to find relief and recovery.
With a large variety of possible conditions that can harm the feet, a general physician will not have the specialized care these issues call for. As a podiatrist, our team takes the time to diagnose the source of the pain and not just the symptoms. This way, we can help the patient achieve long-term relief and recovery from the pain.
Dr. William Martin is a native utahn. He graduated from Brigham Young University in 1995 and then attended San Francisco Podiatry School in 1999. He completed a one year externship at Madigan Army Medical Center and a three year combined medical-surgical residency specializing in foot and ankle disorders and diabetic foot care. His residency was completed at the VA Baltimore Medical Center, Sinai Hopsital, Naval Hospital Bethesda and Ft. Bragg Medical Center. His family then moved to Idaho where he completed a one year associateship in Idaho. Dr. Martin started his clinic in Logan in 2003. His goal is to provide conservative and compassionate foot and ankle care for the entire family.
Dr. Martin's clinic is different from any other medical office experience you have had. When you come into our clinic, you are treated like a family member. Our goal is to take care of every patient physically, emotionally, and financially. Dr. Martin has developed this motto in every aspect of the Foot & Ankle Specialty Clinic. You and your loved ones will be treated with compassion and respect.
Our belief is that if you can avoid surgical intervention, it is best. There will always be times when surgical care is required, however, if it can be avoided, and the condition be treated with conservative care, that is what we want to do. In this day and age with so many different types of infections and complications, we believe that non invasive treatments are the safest for patients who do not require immediate surgical intervention. Physically, we believe this is the best way to begin your treatment plan.
We understand that no one wants to come to the doctor. It is difficult, sometimes scary, and often times overwhelming. You can be assured that when you or your loved one comes into the clinic, they will leave feeling better than when they came in. Dr. Martin and our staff believe that every patient or family member he sees, is a chance for him to make someones day better. We are here to help you in any way.
